Alternate Browser Recommendation
There are several Internet browsing software choices out there these days. Most internet users will choose to use the browser that came with their new PC purchase.
For most people that will be Microsoft Internet Explorer®.
Depending on if you work at home or are at a place of business, your version of Internet Explorer (IE) may be different. For instance, older PC's running Microsoft
Windows XP, may be running IE6 while all PC's running Microsoft's latest Windows version, Vista®, will be using IE7.
It is recommend that if you are using an older version of Internet Explorer (IE6), that you upgrade to IE7 as soon as possible to get the benefits of a safer, more
secure web browsing software. If for some reason you cannot upgrade to IE7 or do not wish to upgrade to IE7, there are several alternatives to use in place of IE.
We recommend the free web browser from the Mozilla Foundation, Firefox. Simple to install, and simple to use.
Safe and secure for browsing the internet and can be customized by adding on several browser add-on features. To learn more about Firefox, please see
the Mozilla website for details.
Feel free to contact us if you need help installing Firefox or have any questions.
